There are times when it can prove difficult to establish your true financial needs, which is why we provide advice in a friendly and understandable manner. Tapestry Financial Services offer personal advice on a whole range of financial services including the following:
Whether your retirement is years away or just round the corner, Tapestry Financial Services can help you secure your financial security in retirement. After all, retirement is a time when you'll want to enjoy life, not worry about money.
The new government pensions freedom rules came into place from 6 April 2015, which now makes it really important that you understand the changes and review your options, because from the age of 55, you can now take responsibility for the money you've saved and access your pension pot however you like - you need to decide how much you want so you can plan, and it is often easier to think in relation to your current earnings and decide how much of your salary you would want to maintain.
Everybody has investment goals, from the old adage of saving for a rainy day to planning a comfortable retirement. It's important to define your investment goals at the outset, as the choice of investments will vary depending on what they are. As your life changes over time, it's important to ensure that your financial objectives continue to meet your needs. Once you have defined your investment goals, knowing what type of investment to choose will very much depend on your personal circumstances, your attitude to risk and a number of other factors.
Starting a serious long-term savings project can be daunting, so it is essential that you receive professional advice on the best plans and funds to choose. At Tapestry Financial Services, our approach is to help you grow your wealth that takes into account your business, personal and family circumstances.
PLEASE NOTE: The value of investments and the income derived from them may go down as well as up and you may not get back the amount originally invested.
Equity release is a way of raising money against the value of your home, providing that you own your home and that you are aged over 55.
There are two types of equity release: Lifetime Mortgages and Home Reversion plans. By using an equity release product, you can draw a lump sum or take a regular amount from the value of your property whilst remaining in your home. Money raised from equity release schemes can be used for any purpose. Home improvements and repairs are popular choices, as are holidays and gifts to children and grandchildren. However, it is worth emphasising that the money can only be spent once – equity release schemes mean smaller inheritances for children and grandchildren.
